"Dry law" for drivers might abolish

"Dry Law" may cancel this year, the newspaper Week Arguments referring to its source in the State Duma.

Duma's Committee on Transport has already begun to develop appropriate amendments to the Law On Road Traffic Safety and the Code of Administrative Offences, which will increase the rate of the maximum permissible level of alcohol in the driver's blood to 0,2 - 0,3 ppm.

"Our legislation must be brought into line with international requirements. Thus, in the Vienna Convention clearly indicated that the natural rate of ethanol content in the blood can reach 0.2 ppm. He also said that the "zero rule" leads to a rise in corruption on the roads.
